What is CareCredit?

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to help you pay for medical and aesthetic treatments with special financing options you might not get with a general credit card.

Do you accept CareCredit?

Yes. Crafted Aesthetics accepts CareCredit for eligible services and products. See “What can I use CareCredit for here?” below.

Why use CareCredit instead of a regular credit card?

Many patients choose CareCredit for its promotional financing options and to keep healthcare expenses separate from everyday spending.

Who can apply?

Any U.S. resident who meets the issuer’s credit criteria. You must be 18+ (or your state’s age of majority) and provide required identification.

How do I apply?
  • Online: Apply through the official CareCredit site before your visit.
  • In-clinic: We can assist you with an application during your appointment.
    Application decisions are typically fast. If approved, you’ll get an account number you can use right away.
Does applying affect my credit?

Yes. The issuer may perform a hard credit inquiry when you apply, which can impact your credit score.

Can I add a co-applicant?

Yes—adding a co-applicant may help you qualify or increase your credit line, subject to issuer approval.

How long does approval take?

Most applicants receive an instant decision online; some may take longer if additional review is needed.

What can I use CareCredit for here?

Eligible services include most aesthetic treatments and skincare purchases, such as:

  • Botox® and neuromodulators
  • Dermal fillers
  • Microneedling / facials / peels
  • Skincare products

Is there a minimum purchase?

Promotional financing usually requires a minimum purchase amount. Our current minimum for promotions is [insert minimum, e.g., $200]. Standard purchases below the minimum may still be paid with CareCredit at your account’s regular terms.

Can I use CareCredit for packages or memberships?

Often yes. Packages and memberships may qualify if they meet promo requirements. We’ll confirm eligibility at checkout.

Can I split payment between CareCredit and another card?

Yes. We can split payments—just let us know before we run your transaction.

What promotional financing do you offer?

We honor the promotional options available on your CareCredit account at the time of purchase (e.g., deferred interest if paid in full within X months, or reduced APR for longer terms). Availability varies by purchase amount and issuer approval.

How do the promotions work?
  • Deferred-interest promotions: No interest is charged if the purchase is paid in full within the promo period. If a balance remains at the end, interest may be charged from the purchase date on the original amount.
  • Reduced-APR, fixed-payment promotions: A special APR applies for a set term with fixed monthly payments until paid in full.
How do I make payments?

You pay the issuer directly (not the clinic) via your CareCredit online account, app, mail, or phone. We don’t collect monthly payments in-house.

Can I set up autopay?

Yes. Log in to your CareCredit account to schedule automatic payments.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Late or missed payments can result in fees, interest, or loss of promotional terms per your Cardholder Agreement. Contact CareCredit support immediately if you anticipate a problem.

Do I need a physical card to use CareCredit?

Not necessarily. Once approved, you may be able to use your account number and government ID in clinic. A physical card is typically mailed afterward.

Can I increase my credit line?

You can request a credit line increase through your CareCredit account; approval is at the issuer’s discretion and may involve another credit check.

How do refunds work on CareCredit?

If a refund is due, we must process it back to the original CareCredit transaction. Refund timing is determined by the issuer and may take several business days to appear on your account.

Is my information secure?

We use standard payment terminals and do not store your full card number. Account management (statements, payments, address changes) is handled directly with CareCredit.

How do I avoid interest on deferred-interest promos?
  • Confirm the promo end date and minimum monthly payment.
  • Pay more than the minimum so the balance is fully paid by the promo deadline.
  • Set autopay to avoid missed payments.
Can I combine CareCredit with manufacturer rewards (e.g., Allē)?

Yes. Rewards reduce your treatment cost at checkout; the remaining balance can be paid with CareCredit and may qualify for promotions if thresholds are met.

My CareCredit was declined—what now?

Common reasons include reaching your credit limit or account verification issues. You can:

  • Try a smaller amount or split tender with another card,
  • Use a co-applicant, or
  • Contact CareCredit to review your account.
I can’t see my promotional plan online.

Log into your CareCredit account and check your transaction details. If it doesn’t show the expected promo, contact CareCredit immediately to clarify while you’re still within the return/correction window.
